PDC‘s most recent health care development results from several provider relationships on a complex property located in the highest growth region of the southern Chicago suburbs. A group of cancer treatment physician specialists shall own a new medical office building containing both medical and radiation oncology outpatient services. Their medical practices and outpatient diagnostic imaging by an adjacent, major hospital shall be anchor tenants in this new 54,300 square foot, three level facility which shall also contain several other related practices in independent tenant spaces. This unique assembly of technology dependent outpatient services shall include a linear accelerator, MRI, PET/CT, radiographic, ultrasound, EKG and bone density modalities with a collection lab and other general patient examination areas.
PDC obtained complicated land use approvals from the Village, Army Corps of Engineers, and Illinois Department of Transportation resulting in a significant increase in property value. A flexible site design allows pre-planned building expansions in a future phase of development coincident with wetlands mitigation. PDC developed independent medical practice designs within a highly functioning, high quality MOB envelope that shall be incorporated as phased during building construction.
Completion of the Project construction documents and bidding allowed a fall construction start. Occupancy is anticipated in late 2011.
